The power of belief and rituals is deeply ingrained in our lives. When confronted with the uncertainties of the future, we often find solace in religion and collective support.
Inspired by her childhood, choreographer Hsieh Yi-Chun reflects on how shared faith and hope bring people together. “Why do people still rely on belief in this modern era? And what happens to those who choose to isolate themselves from it?” These are the central questions Yi-Chun seeks to explore. Though individuals can exhibit strength and resilient on their own, belief offers a unique source of confidence and connection—a reminder that together, we build a fortress.
