Throughout her life, Yi-Chun has taken on many roles: daughter, dancer, choreographer, wife, and mother. Each role brings its own responsibilities and expectations. Measured against often invisible societal standards, she has grappled with the complexities and contradictions of these identities, coming to realize that it is impossible to meet every expectation placed upon her.

Yet life is lived only once. As we move through the seasons of growth, bloom, and transformation, it becomes vital to break free from prescribed ideals and pursue self-realization with courage and conviction. Beyond gender roles and societal expectations lies the possibility of living authentically and without regret. Through this contemporary dance production, Yi-Chun reflects on the evolving journey of womanhood. From the exploration of identity in youth to the ongoing pursuit of self-actualization over time. The work celebrates resilience, transformation, and the freedom to define oneself on one’s own terms.
